What is HanziTap?

HanziTap lets you paste or type Chinese text and instantly look up any character or word by tapping it. Pinyin, definitions, and translations are shown immediately — no internet connection needed.

Does the app require an internet connection?

No. The entire dictionary is bundled inside the app. HanziTap works fully offline.

The definition for a word looks wrong

HanziTap uses a bundled dictionary. If you spot an error or a missing entry, please send us the word and what you expected — we'll look into improving it in a future update.
