Privacy Policy — HanziTap

We collect no user data.

HanziTap does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information or usage data. The app has no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no tracking of any kind.

What stays on your device

All text you paste or type into HanziTap stays on your device. It is never sent to any server. The app works entirely offline — no network connection is required or used during normal operation.

No account required

HanziTap requires no account, no sign-in, and no registration of any kind. We have no way to identify you, and we do not try to.

Crash reporting

The app does not currently collect crash reports. In the future we may add crash reporting to help identify and fix bugs. If we do, it will be used strictly to improve the app — no text you enter will ever leave your device, and no crash data will be linked to you personally.

No third-party data sharing

Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to share with third parties.

Dictionary data

The app includes bundled dictionary data (pinyin, Chinese definitions, and English translations). This data is stored locally inside the app itself and is never updated over the network.

Children

HanziTap does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above and note the change in the app update release notes.
